School
Uniforms The GICS uniform is required for all students and
stands for pride in GICS and in oneself. Uniforms must be clean and
in good repair. The students' uniforms are symbols of the school and
should be treated as such.
The specific months in which one uniform or another should be
worn are intended as guidelines. Except for those occasions when a
particular uniform is required (such as school picture day), parents
may make their own decisions as to which uniform makes the most
sense given the current weather, and dress their children
accordingly.
GICS has a summer uniform, a winter uniform, and a Gym uniform
(to be worn all day of PE days). There are also some occasions
where children may be asked to wear a particular uniform, for
example, wearing the winter uniform on school picture day.
