	The Google search engine is a webcrawler, automatically "crawling" internet sites to find keywords.

Yahoo began as a human-powered directory.  Yahoo employees scanned sites, pulled out keywords, and categorized them to make the search hits most relevant.  Today it is a hybrid search engine, crawling the web as well as using staff to sort web pages.

Bay Grasses in Classes

4th Graders conduct Bay Grass experiments in cooperation with the Department of Natural Resources. They plant grasses here at school and monitor the effects of temperature and water quality on the grass' growth. They report their data weekly to the DNR where it is added to a database along with the reports from other schools.
