Admissions Policy

Gibson Island Country School seeks a strong and diverse student body.  Applicants are evaluated on intellectual and academic potential, readiness, achievement and the personal qualities of good character and citizenship.  Gibson Island Country School welcomes applicants of all races, religions and national and ethnic origins.
 

Age Requirements

Students entering pre-kindergarten must turn four years old by September 1 of their entrance year.  However, children turning four in September or October will be considered for admission with the understanding that they will spend two years in pre-kindergarten, moving from the younger to the older pre-kindergarten class.
